Les devoirs (homework) February 20th- February 23rd
- Continue doing the 3 sheets of the alphabet/numbers to 20. (most students are finished)
- Math- “les doubles” 2ndaddition sheet (blue duo-tang)
- Math- counting backwards from 50-0. (Students have a number line in their homework bag)
- Read the lyrics to “Charles Chat” (yellow duo-tang)
- Gesture: place your finger to your lips saying “ch” (shh in English)
- Listen to the song: Charles Chat
- Reading: Students received one book to read for the week. It is important that they read this book several times throughout the week.
- Continue listening to French songs
To help your child to achieve greater success, here are a few suggestions you can use as a guide:
French:
· Qui travaille dans la communauté?(Who works in the community?)
o Une enseignante travaille dans la communauté. (A teacher works in the community.)
o Un charpentier travaille dans la communauté. (A carpenter works in the community.)
o Un pompier travaille dans la communauté. (A firefighter works in the community.)
Math:
· Counting backwards from 50-0.
· Addition/subtraction (up to 12)

Qui est le directeur/la directrice de l’école? (Who is the principal at the school?) (ex. l’enseignant de…, , le chauffeur d’autobus…) ( who teaches…, the bus drivers etc.)

Le concierge est… (the janitor is.. )
