Motivational speaker, Dr. David Bardsley, author of the book “The Less Than Perfect Child” will be speaking at James M. Hill Memorial High School theatre on Wednesday,May 2nd from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm.

There will be a movie night featuring "Chipwecked" on Thursday, May 10 for K-5 students. Cost will be $5.00 which includes admission and popcorn. There will also be chocolate bars and candy sold as well. Presented by the BHS Student Council.
A talent show featuring grade 6-12 students will take place on Tuesday, May 8 in the cafeteria. Admission will be $2.00 for students and $5.00 for adults. Hosted by BHS Student Council.
The Miramichi Kinsmen and School District 16 are pleased to
accept film entries for the second annual Kin Film Festival. All School
District 16 students are invited to participate. Films can be submitted
in one of two categories: Open and The Kinsmen Category (The Communities Greatest Need). The top 10
films in each category will be screened on May 12th, 2012 at Miramichi
Empire Studio 5. Cash prizes of $500, $250 and $100 will be awarded for
the winners in each category.
