To help your child to achieve greater success, here are a few suggestions you can use as a guide. We will be discussing these “sentences” in class this week.
· Qu’est-ce qu’il y a dans la salle de classe? (What object are found in the classroom?)
o Il y a …. dans la salle de classe. (There is a… in the classroom.)
· Qu’est-ce qu’il y a dans le sac d’école? (What is in your book bag?)
o Il y a … dans mon sac d’école? (I have … in my bookbag)
· En quelle année es-tu? (What grade are you in?)
o Je suis en 1re année. (I am in grade 1)
Examples of classroom objects :
· un crayon (a pencil)

* No cafeteria or snack cart available Monday and Tuesday. (June 18th and 19th)
- Awards- Tuesday (Award Ceremony begins at 9:00) Students in grades k-2 will be awarded for perfect and good attendance.
- Track and Field is now on Wednesday (notice was sent home last week.) Once again, please have students wear sunscreen, hat, sneakers and a bottle of water.
- Literacy on the Lawn- Tuesday: Hot dogs will be served however please bring extra snacks. Also, if your child does not like hotdogs please send a bag lunch including a drink.
- Half day Friday for students
