You guys did so well on the first reading on CommonLit! The class average was 90%!! Keep it up! Your brains will thank you :)

Remember, if any of you wish to share your journals with me at the end of the week, please feel free to do so. I would love to see what you have done.

Also, do not forget to check out Mr. Sturgeon's teacher page. He has done up a great little obstacle course challenge for all of us to complete. With the sunshine, it is a wonderful idea to get out and enjoy the some sunshine :)

Do not forget to email me if you have any concerns or questions.

Stay safe, stay home and stay healthy,

I am so pleased to see so many of you have logged in to CommonLit and completed the first reading. However, I noticed that some of you did not put in answers for the short answer question(s). Please be sure to do this as I am going to check these but some of you did not place any answers for the short response questions so your submitted marks will reflect this. Try to go back in and re-submit a response. If you have any questions or can not do this, please let me know.

Those of you who did answer all of them, I have marked them and you did quite well with this. Great work! Keep working away on these. It will pay off in the end - your brains will thank you :)

Remember, if any of you wish to share your journals with me at the end of the week, please feel free. I would love to see what you have come up with.

Also, do not forget to check out Mr. Sturgeon's teacher page. He has a fantastic obstacle course challenge for you to complete.

Stay safe, stay home but try to get out to enjoy the sunshine.

Talk soon,

Mrs. J.

Well, I am so glad to see how many of you took advantage of the home learning opportunities today - and remember, it is no too late. I am so proud of all of you. If you did not get a chance today to join or take part in the opportunities today, no worries, everyone had some technology issues earlier in the day and, hopefully, these have been ironed out. Today was just an easy day to get us going. Take your time and ease your way into this new adventure. I look forward to seeing what you are doing and hoping that you are all staying safe. Take care and I will talk to you again tomorrow.

Remember, if you need to get in touch with me, just send me an email. I was glad to see some of you took advantage of this today.

Mrs. J.

As we enter a whole new world of "home learning", I wanted to send out a note to reassure all of you that we are in this together. I want to stress that this is a unique continuation of learning while keeping your health and safety FIRST as we stay home and weather this storm together. We will get through this and there will be a beautiful rainbow at the end of this difficult journey :)

You will see a "Welcome to Home Learning" message tomorrow on this page. This will be the opening message for all of you to see what your home learning opportunities will look like. My goal is for this learning experience to be flexible and enjoyable for all of us.

Thank you all so much for your continued support and I will talk to all of you again this week. Take care and be safe. I miss you all dearly.

Mrs. Underhill xo

You will be completing your book report for your novel next week (Wednesday-Friday), therefore, you need to read as much of your book this LONG weekend. The further you are in your book, the easier you find the report to complete.

You will be completing your book report next week (Wednesday - Friday). Everything will be done in class. Therefore, you need to read as much as you can this LONG weekend. The further you are in your book, the easier you will find this report.

For those absent any time this week, I have uploaded the modern version of Hamlet. Please read to the end of Act 1 for Tuesday as we completed this part of thereading this week. This will make the reading of the play in Shakespearean language much easier for you to understand.
