All students have new terms to study for the new unit, Romeo and Juliet. These are terms students need to know with automatica recall, therefore, they need to study them continuously. They had their first test on these today. Those who studied did well.

It is imperative that ALL students attend every class during this unit as it is the most difficult unit this year.

I have uploaded the terms the students are responsible for. They will receive another set of terms next week which will accompany these terms.

Students have been working independently on their literature circles. I have broken them up into certain reading groups and they work independently in their groups every day. They are either reading or working on their various role reqirements. So students should also be working on this work at home when they are not here at school.

I have stressed to the students the importance of contributing to their groups and making sure they attend class and are keeping up with the group work their pratners expect them to be doing.

So, there is always homework for this certain unit as the students have set up their own group work schedules - with reading time and work time chosen by themselves, therefore, the students will always have work to complete for this unit :)
