Math- Complete the math worksheet with Wednesday on the top. “Write the correct length on each line…” You may need the reference sheet from yesterday to help you with #3 and 4.  Very similar to yesterdays work.

French-  Design your own t-shirt.  Remember this is for our French clothing unit so if you were thinking about putting words on your shirt make sure they are French words.

When finished, try some activities on FLORA (Level 4, Module 3) .  I would suggest « J’ecoute et je parle » and « Je fais des activités »

Home Learning Jan 20th

Math-Complete sheet marked Thursday. There are two sheets one (Line up!) is a game to play with another player preferably. You take turns choosing lines to measure.  In your packet sent home there was a ruler or feel free to use one you may have at home.  The person that has chosen the longest sequence of lines wins! The second worksheet is front and back puzzle sheet.  Test your knowledge of addition, subtraction and multiplication to try and solve the 4 puzzles.

French- Finalize your menu. This will be collected on the next pick up drop off date (January 24th)

We are starting a new unit in French called “Les Vetements” -Clothing. In your at home learning packet you will see a new sheet to be placed in your “Dictionnaire” You will need to use this sheet to help with the crossword sheet and identification sheet. See below for pictures of each worksheet.

Math-Complete sheet marked Wednesday. I would like students to watch this video and fill in the blanks.

Metric System Conversions Song | Measurement Song for Kids - YouTube

On the back side of the sheet look at the picture and imagine what the real-life size of that thing would be.  You are given two options circle the more realistic one. For example, 1) A frogs length. If we know that from the door handle to the floor is one meter would a frog in real life be four of those long? No! If you look on your ruler at 4 cm that looks like the likely size of a tiny frog. So, for the first question 4 cm should be circled.

Also choose 1 or two items to draw/color in each category.

French- Complete quick writing  “Le souper”

Here is my example to follow.  Remember to use your dictionnaires to help with vocabulary words

Le souper

-Qu’est-ce que tu manges? What do you eat

Je mange le poulet, les pomme de terre, le brocoli et les  carottes pour le souper. I eat chicken, potatoes, broccoli, and carrots for supper.

-Qu’est-ce que tu bois? What do you drink

Je bois de l’eau ou de lait pour le souper. I drink water or milk for supper.
