All worksheets from chapters 9-12 must be finished for homework. We have been working on these in class since Tuesday and they need to get finished and marked so we can watch the movie.

Students began their Open Book Assignment for World War 1 today. As stated in yesterday's post, all of this work will be completed in class. Students worked very hard on their assignment today. Good job!

We will continue this work tomorrow.

Well, we finished the book today. Students received the last few worksheets to work on. ALL of these sheets must be finished by Thursday's class. We will then exchange them and mark them together and, YES, they do count.

*Please find the worksheets below for those not in class today.

Students will be completing an open book assignment in tomorrow's class. So please be sure you have all of your notes, assignments and questions completed and organized.

**This will take 2 classes to complete and ALL work will be completed in class.

Students have been working on a newspaper article assignment for the novel study.

Most students have their first draft completed and edited my two sets of eyes. Some studets have their second drafts completed and are ready to begin typing up their good copies.

I have booked the computer lab for Monday and Tuesday for typing purposes.

HOMEWORK - IF you have not finished your first draft, THIS HAS TO BE COMPLETED FOR MONDAY.

Students began a new assignment for the two movies we just watched, The Lost Battalion and The Red Baron.

* Both of these projects will be due Friday, April 8 - we will, however, be working on them all next week.

** I have also marked all of your Canadian Flag Assignments and I emailed your marks, so please check your emails for my response back to you.

Please complete the questions for Act 1, scenes 3 and 4 for Monday. I have uploaded the questions below but you should already have these in your binder.

We will go over all questions on Monday and we will begin to watch Act 1.

There will be a test on Act 1 on Wednesday, April 6. Study your questions and I have uploaded a link to a short summary of the events of Act 1 on my teacher page. Read through this and it will help to prepare you for the test as well.
