We began The French Revolution today and students completed their work for section 1 - page 583. PLease finish this up for tomorrow. We will move on to section 2 tomorrow.

Students finished watching the last 10 minutes of "The Stoning of Soraya M." today. I uploaded the link to the full movie in one of my previous notes, so please be sure to watch the full movie for anyone who missed it. You will need to watch the film in order to complete the assignment.
Students received the assignment today and they started working on it in class. The due date for the assignment will be one week from today with Tuesday and Wednesday class time devoted to working on it. We will move on with new work again on Thursday.
I have uploaded all the necessary documents for the assignment below, however, you need to come see me for the illustrated story for part C of the assignment

Test tomorrow - Chapter 17 - link to outline can be found in earlier posts.
Students studied for the test tomorrow using their answers to the outline. Some also asked some very good questions and helped each other to prepare.

I collected all of the assignment for "The Lottery" today. Students then continued watching "The Stoning of Soraya M." We will begin the assignment for the movie on Monday.

We finished watching Catherine the Great today. Students had a bit of time to work on their test outlines.
HOMEWORK - finish your test outline and study it over the weekend.
TEST will be Tuesday, September, 18. I have attached the test outline again.

We began watching the film which goes with The Lottery today called "The Stoning of Soraya M." I have added the link to the movie to my teacher page as well for anyone who was not here yesterday. Please make sure you watch this because there is a major assignment which goes along with the movie when we are finished.
(We only watch 42 minutes of the movie in today's class)

The Lottery Assignment is due tomorrow unless you came to see me today and we made other arrangements. Remember, if you need me to print them off, they must be sent to me by 8:00 am tomorrow morning. This gives me time to do it before classes start at 8:25.\

All character sketches for Andy were to be handed in today but a couple people did not complete their homework, so please finish these tonight and pass they in to me the first of class tomorrow.
