8 bursaries valued at $1000.00 each. 4 bursary recipients will be Credit Union owners or the children of Credit Union owners and 4 recipients will be non-owners of Credit Unions. Applications are due April 4th and can be picked up in the guidance office or the grade 12 homeroom.
The N.S.P.A. awards one $500 scholarship annualy to a grade 12 student living on the Miramichi Watershed Drainage. Applicants must be furthering their education at a recognized post secondary intitution, financial need may be considered, demonstrate an ongoing commitment to the Miramichi River and submit a supporting 250-500 word essay discussing the topic "Why is it important to preserve the Miramichi Watershed Drainage?". Applications are due April 27th and are available in the Guidance office and in the grade 12 homeroom.

This bursary is sponsored by the Schizphrenia Society of NB, Miramichi Chapter. Applicant must be graduating from a local high school, entering University or Community College with a preference in Social Sciences. The following criteria will be considered need and involvement in the community and extra curricular activities. Applications are due May 25th. Applications are available in the guidance office or in the grade 12 homeroom.  
One bursary valued at $500. Student must be a member of the Blackville Credit Union for at least 12 months and must provide proof of acceptance to a University or College. This is not based on marks only or financial need. The individual must have leadership qualities, hardworking, responsible, well respected by his peers, and teachers, confidence, integrity and dedication. Drop off applications to the Blackville Credit Union by May 31st. Copies of the application are available in the grade 12 homeroom or in the Guidance Office.

The Board of Directors of Co-Op Atlantic awards two McEwen Scholarships annually.   They are worth $1000 and renewable for four years to a maximum value of $4000.   Scholarships will be awarded in each of the following categories: 1.     Member, or dependent of a member, of a co-operative of Co-Op Atlantic 2.     Full-time or part-time employee, or dependent of a full-time employee, of a Co-Op       Atlantic or one of its member co-operatives Deadline is March 1, 2012. Please come to the Guidance Office for an application form.

The W. Garfield Weston Awards Program will distribute up to 25 Entrance awards to students entering their first year of college studies in Canada during the 2012-2013 academic year.  Each award comprises a tuition waiver from a college renewable for up to three additional years; and $8000 stipend renewable for up to three additional years; access to summer program funding of up to $3500; and mentorship.   To be eligible to apply: -         Be a Canadian citizen -         Be entering 1st year of college studies in the Fall of 2012 in a program recognized       as eligible by the college and the W.   The Lutz/Lutes Family Scholarship, valued at $1,000.00 is to be awarded   annually to a deserving high school student, who will use said award toward the   costs of the first year of his/her education at an accredited college, university or   other educational institution in Atlantic Canada.     The recipient will have demonstrated high academic achievement and financial   need.  Completed applications received on or before April 1st of each calendar   year will be considered.  Decisions will be announced on or before May 1st of     that same year.     If interested in applying, please come to the Guidance Office for an application.

Applications are now being accepted for the 2012 Dialogue New Brunswick Scholarship.  This scholarship is open to all grade 12 students who are currently enrolled in a New Brunswick high school and who an demonstrate acceptance in a post-secondary institution.   To be eligible for  the scholarship, students must complete the application form and describe the nature of his/her extracurricular activities and/or community involvement and explain how this involvement promotes the values of mutual understanding, respect and appreciation between New Brunswick’s two official language communities,  The deadline to apply for the scholarship is April 20, 2012.
