Attention 2012 Graduates !

It is getting that time of year where we are starting to plan the graduation program for June 21st, 2012 ! If you have received a scholarship and would like it printed in the graduation program please bring in the information and Mrs.Sobey will make a copy to be included in the program. You have worked hard filling out those applications and your efforts deserve to be recognized ! Information can be brought in any time starting now and up to the week of graduation. Keep working hard, you only have a few more weeks to go =)

Northumberland Co-Op Scholarships

Six (6) scholarships of $1000.00 each. Due June 22nd, 2012.   Students must be entering college or university in the Fall. Academic achievement and extra curricular/community involvement will be considered. Two (2) scholarships are for children of employees of Northumberland Co-Op. Four(4) scholarships are for students who live in the Northumberland service area. Two(2) of these 4 are for students who will be attending NBCC in the Fall. Applications are in the grade 12 homeroom or from Mrs. Sobey.

Beaubear Co-Op Marilyn Doyle Memorial Scholarship

In order to apply parents must be an active member of Beaubear Co-Op Miramichi.   Applications are due June 1st and are posted in the grade 12 homeroom.

Miramichi Co-Operatives -IYC Scholarship 2012

In order to apply for this scholarship students and/or parents must be a member of one of the following: 1. Beaubear Co-Operative 2. Beaubear Credit Union 3. Co-Operators Insurance 4. Northumberland Co-Op Insurance 5. Miramichi Vista Housing Co-Op Applications are due June 1st and are posted in the grade 12 homeroom.

Miramichi Hospital School of Nurses Alumnae Scholarship

Applications are now available for this scholarship to any students who are entering a University Nursing Program. The completed application needs to be forwarded no later than May 25th, 2012. This scholarship is valued at $500.00. Applications are posted in the grade 12 homeroom and in the guidance office.

NB Women's Institute Scholarship

Applications are due March 31st !!!!!!!!   Please get an application in the grade 12 homeroom or from Mrs. Sobey. For more information on this bursary please contact Lillian Brennan - President.

NB Ladies Auxiliary Bursary

This bursary is due June 30th. It is awarded on a point sysytem with special consideration given to Ladies Auxiliary members children and grandchildren, then to veterans and their grandchildren.   Applications are available in the grade 12 homeroom and from Mrs. Sobey.

Royal Canadian Legion Bursary

This bursary is due July 15th and is valued at $250.00. The bursary is awarded on a point system that includes your financial need and special consideration is given to children and/or grandchildren of Veterans.   Applications are available in the grade 12 homeroom or from Mrs. Sobey.

SEED Applications

Any grade 12 students who are interested in receiving help with their SEED Applications can meet with Mrs. Sobey during Flex on Friday, March 16th. Interested students need to bring a copy of the SEED Application and a pencil. Meeting will be held in the Electronics Room.
