Students are working on their new short story, Lamb to the Slaughter. I have uploaded the story along with the vocabulary words and the questions. Students completed a short quiz on their reading of the story, we corrected the vocabulary and read the story aloud in class today. Students will continue working on the questions in class tomorrow.

We began the class with some silent reading in preparation for the book report next Friday. Students are encouraged to read as much as they can so they will be able to discuss lots of details in their reports.

We then discussed the common errors the students see in their writing. This should help with the editing process of the autobiographies.

We will continue working on their autobiographies on Monday.

No homework for the weekend (unless students need to read more in their books).
