We finished watching Catherine the Great today. Students had a bit of time to work on their test outlines.
HOMEWORK - finish your test outline and study it over the weekend.
TEST will be Tuesday, September, 18. I have attached the test outline again.

We began watching the film which goes with The Lottery today called "The Stoning of Soraya M." I have added the link to the movie to my teacher page as well for anyone who was not here yesterday. Please make sure you watch this because there is a major assignment which goes along with the movie when we are finished.
(We only watch 42 minutes of the movie in today's class)

The Lottery Assignment is due tomorrow unless you came to see me today and we made other arrangements. Remember, if you need me to print them off, they must be sent to me by 8:00 am tomorrow morning. This gives me time to do it before classes start at 8:25.\

We corrected the work from Section2 chapter 17 and we read section 3 together and discussed the important issues.
Students then worked on the vocabulary and people and places for section 3 - this work must be completed for HOMEWORK.
