We began the class with some silent reading in preparation for the book report next Friday. Students are encouraged to read as much as they can so they will be able to discuss lots of details in their reports.

We then discussed the common errors the students see in their writing. This should help with the editing process of the autobiographies.

We will continue working on their autobiographies on Monday.

No homework for the weekend (unless students need to read more in their books).

Students then continued to work on their autobiographies. Many finished up their brainstorming points and are working on their paragraphs. We will coninue this work tomorrow.

The due date will be decided tomorrow but tenatively it will be Monday.
