Because tomorrow is only a half day and we will only have a 30 minute class, we will be reading all period. Please bring your books to class.

Students received pledge sheets today for the Walk-a-thon. ALL students are encouraged to raise as much money as possible. All money will be going towards the much needed fence around the soccer field (elementary).
There are a number of prizes to be won this year - our goal is $9000!
Please return all of the pledge shhets to me by Thursday, October 5, the day of the walk.

1. Please remember to pass in your alternate ending assignment for "The Lottery" first thing Monday afternoon. I have uploaded the assignment below.
2. Everyone also received their new assignment today. This assignment goes along with the film we watched, "The Stoning of Soraya M." I have also uploaded this assignment. The due date for this assignment is September 25. Students worked on thsi today in class but this is the only class that will be avaiable to work on this.
