Women of Miramichi Entrepreneurial Network

The Women of Miramichi Entrepreneurial Network have available 5 $50 bursaries for female graduates of the 2014 school year.  To be elegible:The student needs to be a daughter, sister, niece, or grandaughter of a WOMEN member. If you are eligible for this bursary please come and see me.

Maurice Daigle Scholarship And NB Growers Golf Tournament Scholarship

This award is open to students:- Whose parents are registered growers OR have been registered and are no longer required to be registered with Potatoes New Brunswick.- Will attend a recognized agricultural college or university (or at least be enrolled in courses related to agriculture). Deadline is June 30, 2014.  You can get an application from me.

2014 AMI Scholarship

Northumberland Cooperative Limited

There are six scholarships offered, valued at $1000.00 each.To be eligible students must be:- Entering Post-Secondary Educational Institution - Academic Achievement- Extra-Curricular OR community participation- Need- Special consideration will be given to studentst who are entering careers in agriculture or related industries. Two of the six scholarships are reserved for children of employees or members of Northumberland Cooperative Limited. Deadline is June 27, 2014.  You can get an application from me.

The Royal Canadian Legion Bursary

Positive Impact Scholarship

This scholarship is presented from Big Brothers Big Sisters/ Boys & Girls Club of Miramichi.  There is one scholarship available from all local high schools.  The scholarship is valued at $2000.00.  This scholarship is to recognize students who have a passion for volunteering.To be eligible students must:- entering university or college.- have a minimum average of 75%- 2 letters of reference from a volunteer work supervisor.Deadline is May 2, 2014.  You can pick up an application from me.

Eileen Murphy Memorial Scholarship 2014

There is one $500.00 scholarship available.  To be eligible students must be:- entering a university or college program.- demonstrate financial need.- must demonstrate an ongoing commitment to the Miramichi River, either through volunteer, extra-curricular or community-based activities.- 2 letters of reference.- Resume.Students must also submit a 250-500 word essay discussing the following topic: "Why is it important to perserve the Miramichi Watershed Drainage?" Deadline is May 16, 2014.  You can pick up an application from me.
