Welcome Back to School

On Wednedsay, June 21st we will be travelling to James M Hill for our annual Track and Field Day. We will be leaving the school at approx 8:40am and returning at 2:00pm. Students are asked to bring lots of snack, water, and a bag lunch. We will be outside all day, so the children should wear sunscreen, bug spray and a hat. They may also want to bring a towel or blanket to sit on. On this day students are participating in different activities such as: running, javelin, softball throw, and long jump. Parents are welcome to meet us at JMHS to cheer on the students. It will be a great day!

On Tuesday, June 18th at 9:00am we will be having our Awards Ceremony in the gym for children in k-5. parents are welcome to attend.

Happy Valentine's Day!!!
On Thursday it is Valentine's Day, so if your child would like to bring Valentine cards for the other children in the class they may do this. Also, if they would like to bring a treat to share with the class that would be fine. Here is a list of students in our class.

We had Literacy day on Thursday at Blackville School. The children all wore their pjs for this day. Grade 2/3L shared their stories with the Grade 5 classes. Then we had a "special" reader come in and read int he afternoon. The children really enjoyed talking trucks and hockey with Mr. Lyons. Thanks Mr. Lyons!!!
