This week, we will be looking at “long VCC - ild, -old, -ind, -olt, -ost”. Typically, VCC patterns are closed syllables because the consonants “close in” the vowel. The vowel typically makes it short sound.

Reminders:
· Anything purchased at the book fair is in your child’s homework bag or book bag. Please keep any pens, notebooks, toys etc. at home.
· Report Cards were sent home today. Students were told not to open until they got home. Please sign and return.
· Parent teacher 4:00 to 6:00 Thursday and 9:00 to 11:30 Friday.
