Math 7 -Textbook link to this chapter ( Math Makes Sense 7 - Welcome (weebly.com) )click on Unit 3

Lesson pages from booklet are “gr 7 u3 frac day 8 est,add, subt dec 2021”. (NEW BOOKLET)

Read page 96 – top of page 98 from your textbooks and watch the video on Mrs. O’Keefe’s teacher page (Day 13 Gr 7 Math January 27 Video decimals add sub day 8 - YouTube) and pause the video and do the questions as you go. Make sure to show all work like I do on the video, not just the answer. The slides from the video are the same from your booklet so make sure to add to them and do not leave them blank. Once done the video and the questions from the lesson then you can be done for the day (Or you can work on tomorrow’s lesson since it is a work period tomorrow). Test for mean, median, mode range and outliers will be Feb 1 when you return. Send a Thumbs Up on Teams each day for your attendance

 

Math 8 - Do extra practice 3 worksheet (posted on the teacher page and in your booklets  #1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6

    Make sure to send me a thumbs up (on teams) for your attendance and make sure you aer doing the work since we will have a quiz on this material when you return.

Jan. 26 (Home Learning)

Math 7- Complete the quiz/assignment sheet from your new booklet and send me a picture of your work for this quiz, to my email (melissa.okeefe@nbed.nb.ca) or post it as a picture in your chat JUST to me. The assignment must be in your own handwriting, and you must show all work and not just the answers. This must be handed in by 11:30 (TODAY) and this will be your attendance for the day.

Math 8 - Complete the class/homework Page 336 # 8, 9, 12, 13ab Show all work (for number 13 just solve the top equation in both and see if you get the same answers as the student 13a) h/-9 = -4 b) t/8 -2 = 4)

This is to be done on your own paper and keep this together to show me when you return. Make sure to show all your work and not just the answers. Once you are done this then you are done math for the day. Makes sure to send a thumbs up on teams for your attendance before 2:00 today.
