Math: We will continue to look at decimals, measurement, and word problems this week.

 

Reading: Please reads guided reading books at least 3-4 times this week. Nightly reading is very important. As the end of the year approaches, some students have not been doing their nightly reading and have not been progressing towards their end of year goals. It is very important that this reading be done at home and at school to progress.

Math: We will continue to work with decimals this week and look at converting measurements with decimals. We will also look at adding and subtracting measurements of figures.

Math Homework: Converting measurement worksheet. See video for help.

Gym Clothes: Please remember to send a change of clothes on gym days (Mon, Tues, Thurs, and Fri). Many students are coming to school without a change of clothes or trying to stay in their gym clothes after class. For sanitary reasons students are required to change for gym in grades 3-5.

Recess/Snack: Students will be going outside (weather permitting) at snack. Please keep this in mind when packing lunches, grab and go items for snack would be the easiest.
