Homework: Students are to read each night for 20 mins. They are to respond to their reading twice a week. A guideline was sent home in your child's reading log to help them with this task.
Book Orders: Due September 14.
Meet the Teacher: This will be held on Monday, Sept 10 from 7:00 to 7:30 in Mrs. Tobin-Forgraves classroom. All middle school parents are welcome to attend this.
Soccer Tryouts: Monday, September 10 @ 3:10 for both boys and girls.

I hope you are as excited as I am to get off to a fresh start! This year I will be teaching two grade 6 Language Arts Classes and one grade 7 Language Arts class. I am very excited to announce that I will be teaching Art as an exploratory. I can't wait to see how creative our Blackville students can be. I look forward to meeting you this week!
Just a reminder that student fees are $25 per student or $60 for a family of 3 or more. Individual payments can be brought to my homeroom and family ones can be paid at the main office. Once these are paid, students will receive their agendas for the year.
Note: Picture Day is Friday, September 7th.
