6M – Read and log, complete persuasive map in order to be ready to start your draft copy tomorrow. 6F – Read and log, complete Reason 1 and 2 of our persuasive map and the examples and supporting details to go along with it.  7D – Read and log, make sure your parents see the information concerning the Provincial Grade 7 Literacy Assessment on October 22-26.  8T - Art Portfolios are to be passed in to be marked.  Peyton, Jensen and Cameron to present projects.

6M- Read 20 mins, log twice a week, interim reports to be signed 6F - Read 20 mins, log twice a week.  Please finish your draft copy of your persuasive writing, complete the last 2 questions of your QAR.  1.  What are some benefits of texting? 2.  Do you think texting 2 much is bad 4 u?  (you will need the article to answer question 1) 7D - Read 20 mins, log twice a week.  Complete "It made me think" sheet.  8T - Bring in a pumpkin by Friday and any tools you may have to carve them.        - Projects:  All projects that are not being presented to the class, must be handed in on Wednesday.  All Art portfolios must be handed in on Thursday.  6M -  Bring a $1 for "Walk for Cancer" and bring in Halloween decorations to decorate our classroom door on Oct 31.

Please ensure they are labeled "In the Book" or "In Your Head".  8T - Come prepared for working on your projects.    * Neon Dance will be held in the gym tomorrow night from 6:30 to 8:30.  Admission is $5.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my students!  There is no homework for this weekend.  8T - bring in any materials you need to work on your art project for Wednesday. Middle School Dance:  Thursday, October 11 from 6:30 to 8:30 in the gym.  The theme will be "neon".
