healthy and budget-friendly habit. Keep it interesting! Reinvent tonight’s
leftovers into tomorrow’s lunch with these three tasty ideas:
1. Leftover chicken or turkey + avocado + cheese + baby kale + tortilla =
scrumptious southwestern wrap.

increasing their risk for morning brain drain. Read more to learn about some quick
Rushed mornings can leave little time for breakfast.
If you skip the morning meal, your body and brain will lack fuel.
That means you might be less alert and unable to
concentrate at work. You’re also missing out on some big benefits. Eating a
healthy breakfast is linked to:
ASD-N Students! Does your teacher have a classroom
or subject web page that supports your classroom experience? Are you and your
fellow students so proud of your school that you are busting to let others know
about it? Have you used technology in your classroom to help you learn? If
so then the 2015 ASD-N CUTE Awards are for you.

Wednesday, February 25th is pink shirt day. Please wear pink as a pledge to
do your part to:
1) Make the community a welcoming, safe, and inclusive place to learn and
2) Support others who experience negative words and actions
3) Be kind, accepting, and respectful
4) Use positive actions to make positive change
The pancake breakfast will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 for the K to 5 students. The breakfast will be held in the cafeteria. Students are able to bring one guest. The breakfast will begin at 8:30 for K to Grade 2 and 9:30 for Grades 3-5. See you tomorrow!

Carnival Week from Monday,
February 16 to Friday, February 20.
The following are the scheduled dress-up days, as well as, some evening
Monday—Canada…Red and White Day
Day…Wear All Black
Tuesday Evening- Movie night for Elementary
students [K-5] starting at 5:30 pm.
Wednesday Evening- Middle School [6-8] “Much”
High School [9-12] “Much” Dance 8:30-10:45
