This is a reminder to parents about the 2020-2021 Immunization Campaign for Grade 7 and 9 students. If you have not returned the completed immunization consent forms, please do so by tomorrow and please have your child eat breakfast and wear short sleeves.
The first Cross Country Run will be “school based” and will be held on Monday September 28th from 3:15 until 4:30.This will be our first official race and ribbons will be given to those who place 1st, 2nd, and 3rd for their grade and gender.The top three runners in each category will then qualify for the first official “District” cross country meet.The location of the district races is to be announced soon.Please make sure your child has an arranged drive and comes dressed in active wear with a filled water bottle.
With Covid-19 protocols in place we are only allowed up to 50 spectators.If you wish to watch your child, you must sign into our contact tracing logbook and sanitize your hands.Spectators are to also keep physically distant from others and the runners as well.
Here is the breakdown of the upcoming dates for Elementary Cross Country:
Monday September 28th-Race #1 (“School Based”) at Blackville beginning at 3:15pm *Students can stay afterschool for this but should be picked up by 4:30pm
Wednesday October 7th-Race #2 (“District Meet”) for students who qualified by finishing in the top 3 from race #1.This race will begin at approximately 4 pm and separate info will be sent home to these students. Location to be announced.
Wednesday October 14th- Race #3 (“School Based”) at Blackville at 3:15pm for all runners. *Students can stay afterschool for this but should be picked up by 4:30 pm
Wednesday October 21st- Race #4 (“District Meet”) location to be announced. Top three runners in each category from race #3
The grade 4/5 soccer teams will begin playing games next week.It is a short season in comparison to past years due to Covid-19.
Students will be provided with school jerseys for their games and these will be their responsibility to take care of the season.Jerseys must be returned in good condition (washed) after the season has been completed.It is also important that students come to each game/practice prepared with a water bottle, shorts, and cleats/sneakers.Shin guards are recommended as well.
Any spectators that are watching from outside their vehicle must sanitize their hands upon arriving at field and sign into the contract tracing binder.We are only allowed a maximum of 50 spectators total for each game.No spectators for practice.
Because of Covid-19 we are only permitted to dress 20 players at each game.The list of students going to the game will be announced at the practice before each game.Everyone will be guaranteed 2 games.

Tuesday September 29th Practice from 3-4:15 *For practices students will stay after school and need to be picked up at 4:15. All players signed up are expected to be at all practices if they are at school. If a student must miss due to an appointment etc., please let Madame Cortes know.

Tuesday October 6th Practice from 3-4:15

Attention all parents of children born in 2016. Due to Corona Virus protocol, Kindergarten registration for September 2021 in Anglophone School District North will be changing. This year, the first step to register your child for Kindergarten is to contact your community school by telephone between September 24th and October 9 th to make an appointment for a face to face meeting at the school. At the time of your appointment, you will be required to come in to the school to complete registration requirements, provide copies of your child’s birth certificate, proof of immunization and medicare card. Face to face registration appointments will occur between October 13th to the 23rd between 8:30 and 3:00 pm. Please note that no access to the building without a scheduled appointment will be permitted. All health and safety guidelines are in place in ASD-N. All visitors to our schools must wear a community mask upon entering our buildings and follow all protocols.
