To Parents:

The grade 4/5 soccer teams will begin playing games next week.  It is a short season in comparison to past years due to Covid-19.

Students will be provided with school jerseys for their games and these will be their responsibility to take care of the season.  Jerseys must be returned in good condition (washed) after the season has been completed.  It is also important that students come to each game/practice prepared with a water bottle, shorts, and cleats/sneakers.  Shin guards are recommended as well.

Any spectators that are watching from outside their vehicle must sanitize their hands upon arriving at field and sign into the contract tracing binder.  We are only allowed a maximum of 50 spectators total for each game.  No spectators for practice.

Because of Covid-19 we are only permitted to dress 20 players at each game.  The list of students going to the game will be announced at the practice before each game.  Everyone will be guaranteed 2 games.

Below is the schedule for the grade 4/5 Blackville Team.

Tuesday September 29th Practice from 3-4:15 *For practices students will stay after school and need to be picked up at 4:15. All players signed up are expected to be at all practices if they are at school. If a student must miss due to an appointment etc., please let Madame Cortes know.

Face to face registration appointments will occur between October 13th to the 23rd between 8:30 and 3:00 pm. Please note that no access to the building without a scheduled appointment will be permitted. All health and safety guidelines are in place in ASD-N. There will be no Breakfast Program operating the first week of school. Also, to keep you informed, the Breakfast Program will be different from that of years past. Items this year will be more like "grab and go" options. Items like yogurt tubes, cheese and crackers, etc.

Notice to Parents and Students. The Cafeteria will be closed during the first week of school and maybe longer. Please prepare your child's snack and lunch. Ideally, it would be helpful if you did not pack items that have to be heated in a microwave.
Thank you in advance.

This note is from the kindergarten teachers regarding next week's appointments.
We can't wait to meet you next week at your scheduled appointment! We will meet you at the main entrance that leads to the office. Parents and students will then chat with us up in the kindergarten area. We have a few activities to do with the children while parents fill out a couple of forms.
To make this easier for everybody, please bring your child's school supplies on this day. Be sure to have their name on all their things and all their pencils sharpened. Thank you in advance for doing this.
Parents and students are to wear a mask while in the school hallways.
We hope you are looking forward to this "meet and greet" as much as we are.
Mrs. Waugh and Mrs. Curtis
