Math: This week, we will spend some time reviewing concepts from grade 4 (adding/subtracting with regrouping) that students will require moving forward in grade 5 Math. At this point, it is very important that students know their multiplication facts up to at least 9 x 9. Those students who do not know their facts, should continue to review these at home on a regular basis. In the coming weeks, we will be moving on to more complex multiplication (three by one and two by two-digit multiplication) questions. To have success in this, it is important that students know their multiplication facts.

We will be having our class Halloween celebration in the afternoon on Thursday. Students are welcome to bring in a little something for the class if they would like but certainly don't have to. There are 11 students in our class.
Please note that due to COVID-19 restrictions homemade baked goods will not be permitted at school this year. Anything brought in must be individually wrapped or package from the store. Sorry for any inconvenience.
