We did another student presentation in class (Cody) and then we finished lessons on Unit 3.  T

Tomorrow we will start exam review so bring your two unit tests!

Updated Progress were passed back along with the test that was written yesterday.  Now you have all of your tests and exam review will be the focus.  Today, we went over Chp. 4 and Chp. 5 Tests...solutions are now posted on the Exam Review page.

Scratch Assignments...

1) 10 Block - you can only use the given 10 blocks (all must be used at least once - use more than once if needed)

2) Build Your Own - you pick one of the 4 possible ideas (All About Me, Music Video, Scrolling, Maze)

***Make sure you title the program you create as the name of the assignment and share when finished!

We worked on EverFi Digital Literacy Modules...

Term Assignment will happen next week.  With a partner (group of 3 needs my permission), you must complete the following...

1)  Build a shelter (Lean-To with a folding saw/hatchet OR a Quinzee with a carving shovel/regular shovel (you must bring on Monday).

2)  Gather wood for a fire (tender, kindling, fuelwood)

3)  Start a fire using only a flint/steel AND be able to boil water

You will have Monday - Wednesday to complete the tasks.  Thursday I will be evaluating your assignment.  We will end the course on Friday with a cooking session over our fires...bring water, hot chocolate/tea, a can good and something to roast!

Last computer lab class...plan for next week:

Monday - lab on salmon scale & order for presentations will be drawn

Tuesday - presentations begin for those students who did the research paper go first and then students for EcoPoints 

Wednesday - finish presentations if necessary and begin exam review

Thursday - EcoPoint Inventories are due (only lesson activities can be completed during exam period)...exam review

Friday - exam review
