The Elementary Christmas Concert will be on Tuesday December 21st at 9am. We invite all family and friends to come and enjoy the students of Blackville display their talent! A snow date has been set for Wednesday December 22nd at 9am if school is cancelled on Tuesday. We hope to see you there!
November 15th-November 19th is National Anti-Bullying Week and Blackville School is celebrating this week with many events and education for our students towards this topic. Please take a stand against bullying and wear pink on Friday November 19th to show your support. Bullying has to stop and it starts with you!
We are also running our "Caught You Caring" campaign, and we are hoping to see the students of Blackville showing their true colors and standing up and doing the right thing!
The Blackville School Library will be hosting its Pre-Christmas SCHOLASTIC BOOKFAIR!

Please be advised that report cards will be going home with all students on Tuesday, November 2nd. Parent-Teacher interviews are being held on Thursday, November 4th between the hours of 6pm and 8:30 pm and again on Friday, November 5th from 8:30am until 11:30am. As always, there is no school for children on Friday due to these interviews. If you cannot make any of these times and still wish to meet with your child's teacher please feel free to contact your child's teacher for a time that better suits your schedule.

Students of BHS, please come to the school to join in on the spooky fun and celebrate Halloween!
This Thursday night dress-up your little spooks and come to the cafeteria for some scary fun! From 5-6pm it is open to pre-schoolers through to grade 2 students, then from 6:30-7:30pm for grades 3 to 5. Admission is $3 and there will be lots of candy apples, cotton candy and other yummies for sale when you are there.
As well, the middle and high school students get to dress-up and burn up the dance floor at their Halloween Dance from 8-11pm. Remember no masks or weapons are allowed.
The students involved in the Boomerang Project at Blackville School would like to thank Mrs. McCormack and her Culinary 110 class for the delicious spaghetti lunch which they prepared on Friday, October 15. See the image gallery for pictures.
