Senior boys completed their season this weekend and did not qualify for Provincials next weekend. The team would like to thank NBCC Miramichi for the sponsorship of the new uniforms.
Congratulations to the Blackville Middle school for their
performance at the provincial drama Festival in Fredericton on May 7. They
received adjudicator awards for props, costumes and first time at the festival.A special honorable mention was given to Isabella Hallihan for her Comedic
performance.

We are asking BHS staff and students to wear red on Friday, May 9th in support of National Day of Honour.
The Harper government has plans to hold a large
ceremony May 9th for the National Day of Honour. The day serves as a tribute
for the men and women who served in Afghanistan and will see 300 troops
representing every unit to have served in the Middle Eastern country march from
the War Museum up to Parliament Hill.

Congratulations to Laura Jardine for winning the Grade 9/10 Post Intensive French Oratory Contest in Moncton over the weekend. BHS would like to acknowledge both Laura Jardine and Ashlyn Moody for doing a great job representing our school at this competition.
Isabella Hallihan, Jules Keenan and Hayley Underhill attended the ASD-N Oratory/Spoken Word competition on April 26 at Superior Middle School. All three girls did a great job representing our school. Way to go girls!
