The Christmas Food Drive is well underway at Blackville School with numerous items already turned in. Students are reminded that it is not too late to bring a non-persihable food item. Each item recieved entitles the child to one ballot for the draw. Thank you for your support of this endeavour.

If so the owner of Peaceful Families Consulting, Charlene Savoie B.A., R.T.C., is coming to Miramichi to teach a 4.5 hour seminar which will assist you to discipline your children without yelling, arguing or spanking. You will learn the six kinds of testing and manipulation your children use and how to decrease them. Parents in School District 16 are reminded that a public consultation on the review of the entry point of early French immersion will be held at St. Andrews Elementary School at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 14th. Parents play a significant role in the development of their children and are encouraged to participate in this public session. The cafeteria will be serving the annual Christmas dinner on Wednesday, December 14 for elementary students and Thursday, December 15 for the middle and high school students. The meal will be a traditional turkey dinner, cheesecake dessert and milk. The meal will cost $5.50 for elementary and $6.90 for middle and high school students.
The yearbook committee would like to remind all students and parents that you can now order your 2012 yearbook. If ordered before December 2 the cost is $30.00. After December 2nd the cost will be $35.00. Order forms can be obtained from the homeroom teachers or the yearbook staff.
