ON TUESDAY, MAY8, 2012 GRADE 8 STUDENTS AT BLACKVILLE SCHOOL WILL BE WRITING A DISTRICT SCIENCE TEST DURING THEIR REGULAR CLASS TIME.

Grade 8 Homework- all students will have their test tomorrow on "CELLS". Study notes. ( 8D did not have their test today due to the amount of students away.)

The following students have been chosen to go next Fri.April 27 to UNB,Fredericton to participate in a science challenge:

Laura Jardine, Jacob Donahue, Noah Donovan, Brett Jardine, Ben Lyons, Jensen Urquhart, Brooke Underhill,Daniel Moody,
Calvin Furlong, Ashlyn Moody, Veronica Pond.
Students Should be at the school Friday, April 17th at 7:00 am.
Students will return to the school apx.4:00 pm. Parent's should arrange for somebody to pick their child up at this time.
Students must take snacks and a lunch with them.

Grade 6 wrote their test on "SPACE" today. They will begin their new unit on "Variety of Life" tomorrow .
No homework tonight.
Grade 7 continues to work on their unit "HEAT". Student's should study their notes.
Grade 8 finished their first section on their unit "The Cell". They have a test on this Monday, April 23,2012.
Grade 8 also has their presentation tomorrow: Earth Day article.

GRADE 6 SCIENCE- STUDENTS WILL BE DOING A NUMBER OF HANDS ON ACTIVITIES THIS WEEK IN CLASS. THEY WILL CREATE A SERIES CIRCUIT , A PARALLEL CIRCUIT, A LEMON BATTERY AND EVEN CREATE AN ELECTRIC DOORBELL! HOMEWORK FOR THIS WEEK : STUDY NOTES AND ELECTRICITY VOCABULARY.
