Upcoming Tests in Science 7,8 and 9 Science

Grade 7 -as discussed last week in class, they will have a test on Ecosystems Feb10th.We will then continue to further study about ecosystems,food chains,food webs and biodiversity. Be sure to review your notes daily/weekly.Grade 8- wrote a science test today on "Parts of the Cell". We will continue to work on learning about the cell for a few more weeks, Be sure to study notes daily.Grade 9- As discussed in class early last week, Test on electricity ,Feb11th. Thursday we will begin our unit on : Matter. Remember to review your notes daily/weekly.

2015 Science 7, 8 and 9

Science classes grade 7,8 and 9 are well underway......please note:Attendance is very important! If you miss a day you are responsible to get your notes copied from a friend and see me about any sheets missed.Daily homework is to study/review notes.Tests : students are always told well in advance of upcoming tests.If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to email me : arlene.waugh@nbed.nb.ca

Grade 9 Science

Science Grade 8

Grade 8 science students started the unit CELLS. They have a quiz tomorrow on the parts of a cell.

Grade 7 students started the unit on eco-systems. They should study their notes as thay have a quiz this Friday,September 12th.

"SOMETHING FROM NOTHING"

Something from Nothing- All middle school students have been working on recycling projects. The project is due next Wednesday,April 16,2014. On Earth Day April 22, these projects will be displayed for all Middle and Elementary students to see. There will be certificates, a treat and a guest speaker that week to help us celebrate Earth Day!

GRADE 8 TEST

PLEASE NOTE: 8O WILL HAVE A "CELL" TEST ON FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 27 AND 8S WILL HAVE THEIR TEST ON THURSDAY ,SEPTEMBER 26. A FEW STUDENTS WILL BE DOING THEIR TEST ON WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 25 AS THEY INFORMED ME THEY WOULD BE ABSENT THURSDAY AND/OR FRIDAY.

WELCOME BACK

WELCOME BACK! Middle School Dance Wednesday,September 11,2013 from 6:00 - 8:00.Admission $5.00 Theme :Blue and Gold Grade 6,7 and 8 students have all started their first science unit. Grade 6 Space, grade 7 Ecosystems and grade 8 Cells.  Students are expected to study their notes throughout the week as homework. Very seldom will they have anything different for homework. Tests and assignments will be posted on this web page as well as in their agenda well ahead of time. If you ever have any questions or concerns please feel free to call me at work.
