I will be asking each student to work on French sites during this time.  You will have the opportunity to improve your French speaking, reading, writing and comprehension skills.  I will have the information ready for you on Monday, January 10, 2022.

We are currently working on an assignment from the short story "The Lottery".  Some students have chosen to create an obituary for a character, while others will write a letter to the editor.  This assignment is to be passed in on Tuesday, December 21.

Students are currently working on a Words of Wisdom project from the short story "Eleven".  This is due to be passed in Tuesday, December 21.

This class will have a test on their notes from Ch 2. "Economies in History" on Monday, December 13, 2021.  Students have completed a review today.

This class has a compare and contrast essay due Tuesday, December 14, 2021.  If needed, help is provided from 2-3.

Students began to work on a compare and contrast essay in class yesterday.  They will have a couple of classes this week to get their ideas and organize them.  The paper is due Monday, December 6, 2021.

Tomorrow the students will be having a quiz on "The Landlady".  They must study the vocabulary words, and be able to recognize them in a sentence, in the proper context.  They must also know the difference between direct and indirect characterization.  They have recently completed an activity on foreshadowing, there will be a questions on the test concerning this literary term.
