Grade 6

L.Arts:

- Library tomorrow

Math:

- Students will not have weekly homework this week.  Last weeks homework and corrections are due this Friday.

- Quiz on "Comparing Fractions"  Wednesday

- a few students have not returned their decimal test or fraction quiz.  Please do so before Friday of this week

- Extra help is on Tuesday and Thursday at lunch

Social Studies:

- Amazon Rainforest projects are due Thursday, February 2.  Students who did not finish their research at school will need to finish this at home. 

Exploritories: 

Grade 6 will be starting their gym exploratory on February 2.  Please bring appropriate clothing and shoes. 

Grade 6 will be starting science on Wednesday, Feb 1 for the remainder of the term.  This will replace social studies.

Student will be having a quiz on Wednesday, January 25th.  They will be responsible for representing, converting and comparing fractions. 

Weekly homework was passed out today and is due back on Friday January 27th.

Students began their research project on the Amazon Rainforest today.  The final project will be due next Friday, January 27th.  Students who choose to do the poster project will need their posters by Monday.

Welcome Back Middle School

 

Grade 6 Math - Weekly homework with start next Monday, January 16.  Students are beginning their unit on Fraction, Ratio and Percents

Math tests on Decimals were sent home on today.  The class average was 86%.  Please sign and return tomorrow.
