REMINDERS: - Order you Valerie Sherrard books by Friday.  These are $5 each and can be autographed by the artist on Wednesday when she comes in to speak to our grade 6 students. - Book orders are due tomorrow - Food Bank items for this week - Peanut butter, jam, and cheese whiz   6M/6Mc - Students have been working on their persuasive pieces this week in class.  Drafts need to be completed for tomorrows class.  If students are done this they can work on revising/editing their favorite piece and work on their final copy.    7J - Sign and return your persuasive pieces.

6M/6Mc - Read 20 minutes - return interim report slips   7D - Read 20 minutes - Be prepared for Friday's presentation on the poem "Local Hero".  Bring in any props and read the poem over several times, so you are familiar with it.  - Grade 7 students will continue working on their Literacy Assessment tomorrow. - ART:  Please remember to bring in markers/pencil crayons and a glue stick for class.  Also, remember to bring in a mason jar and 5 maple leaves before next Monday.    The local paper says I'm great;I fear I must agree.Of all the players on the team, There's no one good as me. I dribble like a wizard, and My jump shot is pure art.The way I crash the boards is likeRaw talent a la carte. My passing is so delicate, The coaches swoon and sigh.In all this town no player isAs masterful as I.
