Bonjour! For this week’s home learning, you will need:
· The home learning pack that was sent home before Christmas break.
· The new home learning packs picked from school last week.
· Your guided reading book (or Je Lis).

French Literacy:
Morning Message: Listen to the morning message “Nouvelle Année” and practice question at the end of first slide.
Question: Quel sera votre souhait or vœux pour la nouvelle année ?
Answer: Ma ou mes souhaits pour la nouvelle année est/ sont…
***Those with poor internet quality can, you can just practice the question with someone at home.

Reading: Please read in French every day (10 – 15 mins).
I have recorded guided reading books for this week. Find your book title below. Any missing videos will be posted by the end of the day.
Those with chapter books, work on chapters 4-8 (or the second half of the book) this week.
Students may also use Je lis for reading this week - passwords attached below.
I have also attached a few PDF copies of books that do not require internet once downloaded.

Math (20-30 minutes)
Gr 4 and 5: *New* lesson on 3 by 1 digit multiplication using the box method lesson 1. Listen to the lesson and complete worksheet below. Answers will be posted, so students can correct their work.

These are just extra activities for those who are interested. It is not a requirement for home learning. They are just fun activities to get you moving and grooving!
Today I suggest helping someone at home with cooking/baking meals. I also linked a cooking show featuring two young girls who bake.
