The City of Miramichi Inside Workers CUPE Local 3863 has 1 bursary valued at $500 in memory of John James Bryenton. Preference will be given to children of members of CUPE Local 3863.
Basis of awards is marks, aptitude, promise and financial need. Applications are due April 25, 2022 and are available in the guidane office.

The Schizophrenia Society of New Brunswick Inc. offers a $500 bursuary to a high school graduate who is entering University or College. There is a preference given to a student who is enrolled in one of the social sciences. Applications are due May 27 and are available in the guidance office or at the following link.

NBCC Entrance Scholarship is valued at $1000. ALL students who have applied and been accepted to NBCC should complete this application. It is due to me by May 27. Applications are available in the guidance office or I have attached a copy that you can complete then either email back to me or print and bring to me.

A representative from UNB will be here to do a presentation for grade 12 students on Friday February 25 during lunch time in Mrs. Brophy's classroom. This is a great oppurtunity to find out more information about programs and applying as well as those who have already been accepted to ask any questions you may have!

Preliminary applications are now available online for Rotary Youth Exchange. These can be a full school year to another country (long term exchange LT) or for a couple months during the summer (short term exchange ST). Age limit is 18.5 years old at time of arrival in the host country. This is a great gap year after graduation if you are not sure what you want to do after high school. Also wonderful to experience another culture and learn or practice another language.
