Les devoirs (homework) January 14^th- 18^th

* Same as last week since we only had 2 days at school. However I added a math sheet.

* $1 for popcorn (money must be in by Wednesday)

·        listen to the song: Benoit Oiseau

§  Gesture: create a circle using your thumb and index finger. Place the circle above your right eye.

·        Red duo-tang (étude de mots): If interested, students practice reading the words (week 2)

·        Read the book given several times throughout the week (same book).

·        Blue duo-tang: “Je peux faire 6” (addition making 6)

To help your child to achieve greater success, here are a few suggestions you can use as a guide.

French:

Oùhabites-tu? J’habite à...(I live in…)

Examples:

·         J’habite à Blackville. (I live in Blackville).

·         J’habite dans la compagne. (I live in the country.)

·         J’habite en ville. (I live in the city.)

Comment vas-tu à l’école? (How do you go to school?)

·        Je vais à l’école en autobus. (I go to school by bus.)

Math

·        creating equal groups with and without singles (ie: 6: 2 groups of 3 or 3 groups of 2)

·        addition
