The students and staff at Blackville School are very proud of Mr. Carter. Mr. Carter received the Marjorie Sinclair Award for Commitment to Technology in Learning. The award was given on March 21, 2013 at the 2013 ASD-N CUTE Awards held at JMH.

           The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to our school!              April 3rd,4th, and 5th.             Family Night will be Thursday evening from 6-9. pm                  What better way to promote reading to our students than by    supporting this important literary event?            Hope to see you all there.

Blackville School was recently selected as one of twelve schools across Canada to receive funds in the 2013 Future Generation Tech Lab program.Sponsored by Future Shop, Blackville School received $15, 000 which will allow the school to purchase more equipment that can be used for podcasting, video production, online publishing, photography, interviewing and writing.The equipment will be used mainly for Journalism 120 and Media Studies 120, but will also be available for students to use in other courses when the technology is required to complete assignments.The equipment that will be purchased

Anglophone School District North has renamed the Annual Elementary Science Fair to the STEM Fair.  STEM stands for Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics.  This Fair is designed to offer students the chance to present their STEM related project to STEM experts, their peers, and to the public.  The STEM Fair targets elementary aged students to think critically about bigger issues in society related to the STEM areas.

Tips for Keeping Lunch Safe: Always wash hands before preparing or eating lunch. This is the one of best ways to prevent food spoilage and contamination.Keep cold foods cold.     Keep hot foods hot. Clean all lunch boxes, thermal bags, plastic utensils and containers in hot soapy water. DO NOT re-use plastic wrapping and bags.Wash all fruits and veggies under cold running water.
