Welcome to Grade 5!  Bienvenue en 5ieme Année! We are at the beginning of what promises to be a very exciting year!  As you enter your last year of Elementary School, you are most likely nervous about starting a new year and maybe sad to see your summer come to an end!  Our first term (until the end of January) we will be following the Intensive French program.  We have been offering this program at Blackville School for 8 years, and have had great success with it.  For the first few days, I will be speaking both in English and in French, to get us all used to spending our days in another language.  By the end of the week, our days will be mostly all in French.  You will still have Math with Mrs. Turcotte and Music with Miss Frenette in English. I have been so lucky at Blackville School to have had such wonderful, kind students.  I know that this year will be no different, as I already know all my students from teaching the Grade 4 French program!!
