December 13th - Home and Schools Holly Jolly Jamboree 7 -9 pm local singers.  Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children. Light lunch will be served.

Examples:

diagonal – a line splitting an image in two parts

diagram – figure written ‘across’ a page to illustrate concepts

 dialect – a variant of a language allowing speaking across to another

 Thursday, November 30th – prefixes in- (il-, im-, and ir-) are from Latin and all are used to mean not.

Math homework: Study x5 math facts.

Strategy: Count by 5’s that many times or multiply by 10 and cut answer in half.

4x5 = ?        5 + 5 + 5 + 5 = 20

4 x 10 =           40 / 2 = 20
