*During the month of October our theme is “my family and my pet(s)”. Therefore, students are welcomed to bring in family pictures at any given time to show/and discuss with their classmates (show and tell).
To help your child to achieve greater success, here are a few suggestions you can use as a guide. We will be discussing these “sentences” in class this week.
· Qui est dans ta famille? (Who is in your family?)
· Dans ma famille, j’ai un frère. (In my family, I have a brother.)
o Comment s’appelle ton frère? (What is your brother’s name?)
§ Mon frère s’appelle…. (My brother’s name is…)
o Comment s’appellent tes frères. (What are your brother’s names?)
§ Mes frères s’appellent… (My brother’s names are…)
§ Je n’ai pas de frères. (I do not have any brothers)

o Ma soeur s’appelle… (My sister’s name is…)
