*Beginning the week of April 15, the grade 5 students will be selling ice cream at lunch for $1.00.  It will be sold on Tuesday and Friday.

Reminder: Please sign and return the second page of the Report Card

Homework:

·        listen to the song: Valérie Vache(video is on page 2) (same as last week)

o   Gesture: using your arm, make a “v” in the air

·        Red duo tang (videos are also found on my teacher page) (practice Spell-a-Thon words)

·        Read the book given several times throughout the week.

·        Continue Reading Challenge

To help your child to achieve greater success, here are a few suggestions you can use as a guide.

French:

·        Comment peux-tu aider ton environnement? (How can you help the environment?)

J’aide mon environnement en jetant mes déchets dans la poubelle. (I help my environment by throwing my garbage in the trash.)

·  J’aide mon environnement en utilisant moins de produits. (I help my environment by using less products.)

·  J’aide mon environnement en utilisant les mêmes produits plusieurs fois. (I help my environment by using the same products more than once.)

Math

·        Addition/subtraction

·        Counting by 5s and 10s to 100

·        Counting back from 100-0

·        Review one/two more/less than a given number

·        Introducing measurement (if time)
