It is a long
way from Renous, NB to Dallas, TX with a few stops in between for former
Blackville School student Tony Gibson.
Tony is currently the CEO and owner of Object Systems Group, an
Information Technology company that specializes in solving software and systems
problems for large corporations.Although it
has been a long time since Tony has been a student of Blackville School and
resident of Renous, he has not forgotten his roots and has to this day remains
very close friends to many he has grown up with in the area. With his busy schedule, Tony does not often
Celebrate the sounds of the season by attending, Christmas Memories in Music. The event will be held on Saturday, December 14 at 7:00 pm at St. Bridget's Church, Renous. Proceeds to support Music and Breakfast Programs. The cost is $10.00. Tickets can be purchased at Blackville School, Circle K [Blackville Irving] or Renous Convenience. Parent-Teacher will be on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:30 and again on Friday morning from 8:30 to 11:30 am. Both Tim Grattan and Carlene Lyons will not be available during Parent-Teacher, however, any parent wishing to speak with either of them can call the school and set up an appointment.
Dear Parents /Guardians,
As you are aware, the safety of your
children, our students, is of the utmost importance to us and this includes
safe transportation to and from school.
The amount of requests schools receive to place students on different
school busses is a great concern. This becomes difficult for administration to
monitor as large numbers of alternate bus passes are being issued. Young
students are often unsure where they are supposed to go and many may be
unfamiliar to bus drivers.
You have already provided the school
Notice
to parents: Please make sure when you pack your child's lunch that all items
are healthy choice items. Please do not send pop, chips, bars, etc as they are
against the District Nutrition Policy.
There will be Middle School Drama after school on Monday and Wednesday next week. Please arrange your drive to pick you up at 4 pm. Bring your scripts also.
