Criminology students at St.Thomas University have started STUMitts - an initiative to place awareness on Child Poverty in our own area. The idea of STUMitts is to collect new and lightly used mittens and distribute them to those who are forced to face the harsh winter weather without them. STUMitts is asking for your help – we ask that each of you try your best to contribute by donating what you can to BHS where the STU students will pick the contributions up on Friday, February 21st. St. Thomas students have also partnered up with NBCC Miramichi where we will be holding an open house this Saturday, February 22nd.
