Cross Country. Our first meet will be Wednesday, September 19 at North and South Esk Elementary. The races will start at 4:00 so all runners are asked to be at North and South Esk Elementary by 3:45.

Soccer. There will be soccer practice Tuesday from 3:10-4:10. All players are asked to attend as schedules and uniforms will be given out. Both teams have a game Thursday night. All parents are asked to pick their child up at 4:10 at the Elementary Soccer Field.

Reminder all players need to have shin guards. Sneakers OR cleats can be worn.
Cross-Country--Monday night after school from 3:10-3:30. This is only a short practice. Students will run 1 km. Parents are asked to pick up their child at the Elementary Field. Students are asked to wear sneakers and gym clothes.

39 farms will be open to the public. This is a great free event for families and a wonderful way to help children learn where our food comes from.

The last day of classes for students is Thursday, June 21st. This is a full day.
*Assemblies that have normally been held on Friday morning for Elementary and Middle School will be on Tuesday, June 19th.
*The Elementary Assembly will begin at 9:00AM and the Middle Level assembly will begin at 10:45AM.
* Report Cards for K-11 will go home on Thursday, June 21.
*Grade 12 will get their Report Cards when they come to pick up their graduation documents after the graduation (Friday, Monday or Tuesday, June 22, 25,26).
The Entertainment Committee of the 2012 Miramichi Rock’N Run invites entertainers and musicians of all genres to join us on Sunday morning, June 24th. This is a great opportunity to showcase your talents and help inspire our runners. A time commitment between 20 & 40 minutes is all that is required. The Miramichi Kinsmen and School District 16 are pleased to
accept film entries for the second annual Kin Film Festival. All School
District 16 students are invited to participate. Films can be submitted
in one of two categories: Open and The Kinsmen Category (The Communities Greatest Need). The top 10
films in each category will be screened on May 12th, 2012 at Miramichi
Empire Studio 5. Cash prizes of $500, $250 and $100 will be awarded for
the winners in each category.
