The Middle and High School Drama Clubs will be presenting
their plays on Thursday, May 14 at 7 pm in the cafeteria. Admission will be $2 for students and $5 for
adults. The Middle School will be presenting “The Happiness Shop”
and the High School Drama Club will be presenting “Cinderella and the
Substitute Fairy Godmother.”Come out and enjoy a fun filled evening of Drama."
Grade 5 students at Blackville School had
a competition to see who could create the best welcome sign in
French.Julia Green's poster was blown up into a big sign and will be
posted outside the office area to welcome students, staff and visitors.

The Miramichi Track and Field Club will once again be
offering the Run, Jump, Throw 12 Challenge Series. For this
series, youth aged 5 to 12 are invited to participate in 4 evenings of
12 Challenges, which are planned for Mondays - starting May 11, 18, 25,
June 1st and final meet on June 9th at the James M Hill
track in Miramichi. Three different track and field events are
scheduled every week for a total of 12 events (hence the name of the program).
The instructors will be trained Run, Jump, Throw instructors.
Categories will be:
Kindergarten to grade 2 students – 6:00 PM to 7:15

at U de M. Laura received a
second place finish in her division. ( A $1500 bursery should she attend U de M
