Dates: Monday, February 4th 2013 – Friday, February 8th 2013 This year’s Blackville School Winter Carnival involves all students from grades K-12 and will reach out the entire community. We have changed and reorganized to create an entirely new Winter Carnival. We hope to include all of the usual excitement but also restore some fun - with more outdoor activities that include everyone! Schedule: Monday, February 4th: Dress up theme - Tacky Tourist Day (i.e. - camera, sun block, socks and sandals etc.) Tuesday, February 5th: Dress up theme- Jersey Day (Wear your favourite jersey)             The Miramichi Timberwolves will be around the school throughout the day contributing to the activities. There will be a skating party during the evening at the Blackville rink- WEATHER PERMITTING. 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. will be for students in grades K-5, and 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. will be for students in grades 6-12. Students in grade K-5 should have helmets. Wednesday, February 6th: Dress up theme –Crazy Hair Day (Be creative!)             Wednesday evening, hypnotist Robert Lamar will be putting on a show in the Blackville School gymnasium from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Cost is $7 per person and $5 for students in grades K-8. A canteen will be open before the show from 6:15 p.m. – 6:50 p.m. There will also be a 20 minute intermission during the show. Appropriate for all ages – everyone and anyone are welcome! Thursday, February 7th: Dress up theme - Hospital Day (i.e. – nurse, doctor, patient etc.) Friday, February 8th: Dress up theme - Pajama Day *Activities other than those listed will also take place for students throughout the week during school hours.
