Times a wasting and we have two weeks left before assessments for Grade 5 Math begin to write. All students are encouraged to review facts nightly, as there will be a one minute timed quiz, of 15 questions, on the multiplication and division facts. As well we have been working on assessment questions, in class. Your child is asked to look at the 123/abc questions in each unit and are asked to try these. Questions such as these are possible assessment style questions. Cumulative Review is also a way of reviewing. These are at the end of each unit.
Go for 42 had it's kick off and students are eager to keep the adreline strong by graphing their daily walks.
Grade 6 continues to work on transformations.
Good luck goes out to some of the Grade 6 students, as they hid to Drama festival, this week.
Time is going so quickly and for this reason your child is asked to make every attempt to keep on track over the next couple of weeks. Nightly homework will consist of review that has been indicated on the above message.
