Students were taught the rule for multiplying fractions (Section 3.3 in the textbook). See the attached PDF file for note and example of how to reduce fractions to lowest terms while multiplying. Students had 21 minutes to work on homework in class.
Class/Homework: Page 113 #13(Modle), Page 118 #6, #7, #8, #9, #11, #12 (For page 118-119 just multiply and reduce NO modelling or estimations)
