We have been discussing the events surrounding the end of WWII and, especially, the D-Day invasion in Normandy, France. We watched the movie "Storming Juno" today and students received their assignmet for this fim. I have attached it below.

I am asking students to do a little research on the events surrounding Juno Beach on their own, in order, to get a better idea as to the emotional situations our Canadian soldiers endured during this battle. This research will help you when writing your letter.

The due date for this assignmet is Friday, December 18. There will not be any class time given for this as we will be moving onto the Holocaust on Monday dnd we have some major sections and films to view for this section before Christmas Break.
